Núñez de Prado 5 L is an organic extra virgin olive oilorganiccrafted by the Núñez de Prado family in Baena, Córdoba. Its history is closely tied to the Cordoban olive groves, where the family cultivates their own olive trees and maintains a production philosophy based on caring for the land and obtaining oils with a distinct identity.
This EVOO is born from traditional olive varieties of Baena, most notably Picuda, Picual, and Hojiblanca. Their combination allows for a complex and balanced oil, bringing together the aromatic character and smoothness of some varieties with the structure and persistence of others.
On the nose, it offers an expressive fruitiness, with sensations of fresh olive, grass, and fruit accompanied by hints of almond and other vegetal nuances.
