Artajo is a family-owned olive mill located in Fontellas (Navarre), next to the Bardenas Reales Natural Park. The Artajo family's history has been closely linked to olive cultivation for generations, although it was in the late 1990s that they undertook an ambitious project to revive the estate's olive-growing tradition and create their own mill dedicated exclusively to the production of high-quality extra virgin olive oil.

Today, Artajo cultivates thousands of olive trees on its own land and controls the entire production process, from the care of the olive grove to the final bottling. This philosophy allows them to guarantee consistent quality and produce oils that reflect the character of the Navarrese landscape and a respect for nature.

Integrated production for maximum quality

At Artajo, quality begins in the field. The company cultivates its own olive groves using a sustainable farming model, caring for each tree throughout the year to obtain healthy, high-quality olives. The harvest takes place at the optimal moment of ripeness, and the fruit is transported immediately to the mill, where it is pressed within a few hours to preserve all its freshness.

The oil extraction is carried out exclusively through mechanical procedures at a controlled temperature, ensuring an authentic extra virgin olive oil with all its natural properties.

Artajo produces a wide range of extra virgin olive oils, including monovarietals and blends, with special attention to varieties such as Arbequina, Arróniz, Koroneiki, Arbosana, Picual, and Empeltre.
