Bravoleum Oils

Bravoleum is the premium extra virgin olive oil line from Aceites Hacienda El Palo, an olive oil company located in Villargordo, in the province of Jaén, one of the territories most closely linked to olive cultivation in Spain. Its mill is specifically located at Cortijo Villaconchita, where they produce a selection of EVOO aimed at achieving the highest quality and expression of each olive variety.

Hacienda El Palo has built its project around the constant pursuit of excellence, combining knowledge of the olive grove with research, innovation, and meticulous care during production. This philosophy has led their Bravoleum oils to earn numerous awards in competitions and specialized guides, and to be present in international markets, gourmet shops, and specialized establishments in different countries.

Bravoleum represents the most select side of this work: oils produced with special attention to the state of the fruit, the time of harvest, and each of the subsequent production phases. The goal is to obtain EVOOs capable of expressing both the characteristics of the varieties used and the personality of the Jaén olive groves from which they originate.

Picual, Arbequina, Frantoio, and Hojiblanca: four varieties, four personalities

The Bravoleum collection allows you to discover different expressions of extra virgin olive oil through various olive varieties. Among them, the Picual stands out, deeply linked to the province of Jaén and the star of some of Hacienda El Palo's most representative oils. Its Bravoleum Picual is obtained from olives sourced from family estates, harvested in October at the point of veraison and processed exclusively by mechanical means. The result presents an intense green fruitiness, with hints of grass, tomato, and olive leaf, accompanied by notes of almond and artichoke.

Alongside the Picual, the mill works with Arbequina, a variety that allows for a different profile—softer, fruitier, and more balanced, with a marked sensation of freshness. The Arbequina olives used for Bravoleum also come from family estates and are selected by seeking the proper state of the fruit before its processing through mechanical means.

The range is completed with varieties such as Frantoio, which provides a balanced and aromatic oil with nuances of freshly cut grass, green almond, and apple, and Hojiblanca, with a green fruity profile featuring notes of fresh grass, tomato, green apple, olive leaf, almond, and artichoke. This diversity allows Bravoleum to show how the same production philosophy can lead to oils with very different sensory characteristics depending on the olive variety used.

Family estates and olive groves in the lands of Jaén

The origins of Bravoleum lie in the family estates of Hacienda El Palo, where the olives that are subsequently transformed into their extra virgin olive oils are grown. Care for the fruit begins long before it reaches the oil mill: the olive trees receive attention throughout the year to ensure healthy olives with the necessary characteristics to produce premium oils. The brand itself defines its EVOO as the result of dedication and care for the fruit throughout its entire cycle in the field.

These olive groves are located in Jaén, a land where the olive tree is one of the main elements of the landscape and agricultural culture. The family estates feature fertile soil and are subject to the conditions typical of the Mediterranean climate, factors that favor the development and balanced maturation of varieties such as Picual, Arbequina, Frantoio, and Hojiblanca.

The direct relationship between the estates and the mill allows Hacienda El Palo to control the origin of the raw material and select the fruit according to the characteristics sought for each oil. In this way, the field, the variety, and the time of harvest become fundamental elements of Bravoleum's identity, bringing the character of their family olive groves and one of the world's great olive oil-producing regions to every bottle.
