Castillo de Canena Biodynamic Picual 500 ml is a monovarietal Picual extra virgin olive oilproduced by Castillo de Canena in Jaén. Its main uniqueness lies in the biodynamic management of the olive grove, an agricultural approach that views the estate as an ecosystem and pays special attention to soil balance, biodiversity, and natural cycles.
For this label, 100% Picual olivesare used, a variety deeply linked to the Jaén olive landscape. The selection of the fruit and its careful processing allow for an oil with a distinct personality, capable of expressing both the vegetal character of the variety and the intensity typical of Picual oils.
Sensorially, it presents an intense and complex green fruitiness. Notes of freshly cut grass, olive leaf, tomato, and green almond appear, accompanied by different vegetal nuances. On the palate, it offers body and persistence, with a defined bitterness and a progressive pungency that maintain a good balance with the fruity sensations.
