O-Med Picual 1 L is an extra virgin olive oil produced by O-Med in Ácula, Granada. The García-Casas family oversees the process from the olive grove to the mill, working to ensure the olives arrive in optimal condition to preserve the fresh, vegetal expression characteristic of this variety.
Picual is one of the most recognizable Spanish varieties due to the intensity and structure of its oils. In this product, O-Med achieves an expressive EVOO with a marked personality, especially suitable for those who prefer oils with a predominance of green sensations and a clear presence on the palate.
On the nose, aromas of olive leaf, fresh grass, and tomato vine appear, accompanied by other vegetal nuances. On the palate, it is structured and persistent, with a defined bitterness and a progressive pungency that add character and prolong the oil's sensations.
Its intensity works especially well on bread and tomato, salads, vegetables, soups, and legumes. It can also be used to finish meats, stews, rice dishes, and plates with pronounced flavors.
