Casas de Hualdo Picual 500 mlis an Extra Virgin Olive Oil made exclusively from olives of the Picualvariety at the Finca Hualdo estate, located in El Carpio de Tajo, Toledo. A monovarietal that reflects the intense character of this variety through a complex, fresh, and balanced aromatic profile.
On the nose, it presents a distinct green fruitiness, with vegetal aromas reminiscent of olive leaf, fresh grass, and other nuances typical of freshly harvested olives. On the palate, it displays great structure and personality, with a bitterness and pungency that are present yet balanced, leaving an intense and persistent sensation.
The Picual variety is especially prized for its character and stability. Casas de Hualdo controls the entire production process: the olives come from their own groves and the oil is obtained exclusively through mechanical means. Production and bottling are also carried out at the estate's own facilities, allowing for complete control over the traceability and quality of the product.
Its intensity makes it an EVOO especially recommended to be enjoyed raw, where it can express its full aromatic richness. It is perfect for accompanying toast, tomatoes, salads, vegetables, and cheeses, as well as for finishing meats, fish, legumes, rice dishes, and other Mediterranean cuisine.
