O-Med Arbequina UV is an extra virgin olive oil produced by O-Med in Ácula, Granada, exclusively from the Arbequina olive variety. The mill processes this variety with the aim of preserving its fragrant and delicate character, resulting in a monovarietal that is especially expressive and easy to enjoy.
Production is carried out under careful control of the fruit and the extraction process, with special attention paid to preserving the olive's natural aromas. The result is a clean and balanced EVOO that displays a mainly fruity facet, distinguishing itself from more intense and structured varieties like Picual.
Its aromatic profile combines hints of apple and green banana with notes of almond and light vegetal nuances. On the palate, it presents a smooth and fluid texture, with a slightly sweet entry. The bitterness is very discreet and the spiciness appears subtly at the end, providing freshness without masking the more delicate nuances of the Arbequina.
Due to its smoothness and versatility, O-Med Arbequina UV is especially suitable for raw use in preparations where you want to add aroma without overpowering the other ingredients. It pairs very well with toast, salads, vegetables, fish, pasta, and mild sauces. It can also be used in baking and sweet preparations as an alternative to other fats.
