Finca Duernas Origen Ecológico 500 ml is an organic extra virgin olive oil made from a blend of Arbequina and Picual olives. Two varieties with different profiles that complement each other to create a balanced, aromatic oil with personality.
The Arbequina provides delicacy, fruity aromas, and smoothness, while the Picual contributes greater structure, intensity, and persistence. The result is a blend capable of bringing together the character of both varieties without either completely dominating the whole. This version is presented filtered, offering a clean and stable oil.
On the nose, fresh sensations reminiscent of the olive grove and grass predominate, accompanied by notes of banana and tomato. On the palate, it is complex and balanced, with a pleasant entry and a spiciness that appears especially in the aftertaste, prolonging the oil's sensations.
Its balance makes it a very versatile EVOO. It is excellent for toast, tomato, salads, and vegetables, as well as for pairing with pasta, rice dishes, legumes, fish, and meat. It also works very well as a finishing touch on soups and grilled dishes.
