Mas Tarrés Organic Arbequina 500 ml is an extra virgin olive oil from organic production made exclusively with Arbequina olives. It is produced by Olis Solé in Mont-roig del Camp, Tarragona, an area closely linked to the cultivation of this variety.
Organic production seeks to work the olive grove by respecting its natural cycles and limiting the use of synthetic products. The production process is oriented towards preserving the freshness and characteristic features of the Arbequina, obtaining an especially pleasant and versatile oil.
On the nose, it offers a delicate fruitiness with hints of apple and banana, accompanied by notes of almond, fresh grass, and other vegetal nuances. On the palate, it is smooth and fluid, with a pleasant sweet sensation at the start and contained levels of bitterness and pungency.
Thanks to its delicate profile, it is excellent for toast, tomatoes, salads, vegetables, and creamy soups. It also pairs especially well with white fish, seafood, pasta, rice dishes, and mild cheeses. Its fruity character also allows it to be used in baking and other recipes where an EVOO is sought that provides aroma without being too intense.
